Our Physicians
Dr. Levey graduated from the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont, in 1964 and received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School in 1969. He performed his internship at George Washington University from 1969 to 1970 and his surgical and urological residencies at New York University from 1971 to 1975. Dr. Levey was board-certified in 1977. Dr. Levey joined Bergen Urological Associates in 1975. He is a urological surgeon at Hackensack University Medical Center and a clinical assistant professor of urology at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Levey enjoys practicing general urology, and brings to the table many years of clinical experience. He has particular expertise in male infertility and andrology and is the BUA expert in microscopic urological procedures such as microscopic vasectomy reversal.

Dr. Andrew L. Siegel is a urological surgeon at Hackensack University Medical Center, an Assistant Clinical Professor of Urology at the University of Medicine of New Jersey, and is the Director of The Center for Continence Care. Dr. Siegel is uniquely qualified to hold this directorial position given his post-medical school fellowship in incontinence, urodynamics, reconstructive and female urology. During his specialized training at the University of California School of Medicine, Los Angeles, California, Dr. Siegel studied under the direction of Dr. Shlomo Raz, the world-renowned expert in incontinence and female urology. Dr. Siegel's other educational experience includes earning a bachelor of science degree magna cum laude from Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York, in 1977, and a medical degree from the Chicago Medical School, Chicago, Illinois, in 1981, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed a two-year residency in general surgery at the North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset, New York, an affiliate of Cornell University School of Medicine. Dr. Siegel then went on to undertake residency training in urology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from 1983 to 1987. In 1988, following his fellowship training, Dr. Siegel joined Bergen Urological Associates and was board-certified in 1990. Dr. Siegel is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology and the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is a member of the American Urological Association, the New York section of the American Urological Association, the American Medical Association, the Society for Urodynamics and Female Urology, and the American Uro-Gynecological Society. Dr. Siegel has authored chapters in urology textbooks including Current Operative Urology and Interstitial Cystitis, and has published articles in numerous professional journals including Urology, Journal of Urology, Urologic Clinics of North America, Postgraduate Medicine, Neuro-Urology and Urodynamics, International Urogynecology Journal, Radiotherapy and Oncology, and the Journal of Brachytherapy International. He has presented papers at professional meetings for many medical societies including the Philadelphia Urological Society, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Urological Association, both nationally and internationally. Dr. Siegel's particular expertise and interest is female and male urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, pelvic reconstructive surgery, and urological prosthetics. Dr. Siegel is the author of the books Finding Your Own Fountain of Youth: The Essential Guide to Maximizing Health, Wellness, Fitness & Longevity and Promiscuous Eating.

Dr. Martin Goldstein earned a bachelor of science degree with honors from Yeshiva University in 1990. Based on his undergraduate academic performance, he was awarded a full four-year merit-based scholarship to attend the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (Rutgers University). It was during these years that his dedication to research and the advancement of the practice of medicine earned him the annual award given for Excellence in Research. Dr. Goldstein then completed two years of general surgical training at the University of Rochester. This was followed by four years of urology training and research also completed at the University of Rochester and the successful completion of his urology board certification requirements. Dr. Goldstein has been a speaker on many urologic topics and has published in peer reviewed scientific journals and urology textbooks. He is a practicing urologist at Hackensack University Medical Center and enjoys teaching residents and medical students while serving as Clinical Instructor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School. As the newest member to join Bergen Urological Associates, Dr. Goldstein brings with him expertise in the latest urological surgical techniques. Specifically, Dr. Goldstein has extensive training and interest in "minimally invasive" urologic surgery including laparoscopic and ureteroscopic procedures.
