Selection of Your Physician | Choice of Hospital Urology and Urological Surgery Please visit our Patient Education page for additional information on urological conditions and treatment.
The three associates in this practice are all specialists in urology. When you first call our office, you may request to see a certain doctor. If you have no preference, you will be assigned to one of the doctors according to availability. It is best that each patient be followed by one doctor. If the doctor you usually see is unavailable (evenings, weekends, vacations, emergencies), one of the other doctors will be happy to see you. You always have the option of switching doctors if you choose. This can be arranged when an appointment is made. In the hospital, you may be visited by any of the three doctors, according to their availability. If you require surgery, however, it will be performed by your doctor, unless discussed specifically with you beforehand. Depending on the complexity of your surgery, one of the other doctors in the group may assist in the operating room.
If you require hospitalization, our physicians are on staff at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey. Additionally, our physicians perform a great deal of their ambulatory surgery procedures at Metropolitan Surgicenter located in Hackensack. Many of their stone procedures and Greenlight laser photovaporizations of the prostate are performed at The Stone Center, located in Newark, New Jersey.
